We recently outsourced the hosting of our Intranet/Extranet and are using WSS3 with the new hosting company. We would like to have our users be able to use their network login credentials on the new Sharepoint sites. Is there a way to synchronize the AD users from our internal network to with the hosted sites? Also, with this in mind, can users still be added using only the WSS user creation tool and not have it synchronize back? (This would be used for users created on an "extranet" site and there is no need for those users to be added to the nework users lists. Any suggestions for third party or custom tools?
