Is there any way to insert image in sharepoint custom list column. Please note that i want to display the image in that column.

Add a site colum to the Custom list would work...

Create the Site Column: Site Actions, Site Settings, then Site Columns (Under Galleries), click Create. Then choose either "Hyperlink or Picture" or "Image with formatting..." .

Then in your Custom List, add the Site Column you just created.

That should be it.
