Getting WSS 3.0 sites to work on Windows Mobile 5.0 and Blackberry devices...

I know that you are supposed to be able to get to these sites on a mobile device with http://url/m

When I try on my Blackberry, I get an error and cannot open the site.

When I try on Windows Mobile 5.0, it gives an 'unauthorized user', which makes sense because there was no login window.

How can I get to these sites on these mobile devices?

    Thanks,

I asked Lawrence Liu about this when he was at the New York City user group last month. There is no OOTB mobile solution for Blackberry. You have to use a third party tool like Corasworks.

Thank you ..  I will look into that.  Why wouldn't the site work on Windows Mobil 5.0?  It seems as though it just isn't asking the user to log in from these devices, and since the sites have no anonymous access, it is not letting them view the site.

Lawrence confirmed they are having problems with the mobile view. I'd hold out until the next iteration to save yourself the frustration. Hope it's not critical...
