VB vs. C# in Web Part Development

I have seen tons of examples from around the web on creating custom web parts for deplotment in MOSS '07.  I have noticed that 9 times out of 10 those examples or tutorials are written in C#.

Is there a reason that most people are using C# instead of VB for this type of work?

There's no systemic reason.  VB works just as well so far as I know.  I'm a former java programmer and c# was an easier path for me to take.

Gotcha!  It has been so strange trying to find Web Part dev information that is done with VB instead of C#.  I guess I have just been looking in the wrong places.

    Thanks for the response!
