    Recurring Calendar Item Question

This is probably a stupid question..but does anyone know how to set the duration on a recurring calendar item within SharePoint?  We are running SharePoint Server 2007.

I have a recurring event that starts on Monday and goes through Sunday every 7 weeks.  In Outlook, when you set the recurrence on an event, it gives you the option to set the duration.  In SharePoint, I don't see a way to do this.  If I start the event on a Monday and set it to All Day, but then set a recurrence for every 7 weeks, it doesn't give me the option to set it that it goes from Monday to Sunday.

I also don't want it to put the event on every day of the week, just have the bar that goes across all days.

    Any thoughts?

    Re: Recurring Calendar Item Question

There are two ways you can do this...

    1.  Instead of setting a recurrence, set the start date and end date to Monday and the next Sunday, and mark the All Day Event.
This option will put the event in one bar across the week.  If you need to have multiple of this, you will need to make multiple entries.

    2.  If you need it to recure, you can choose weekly then select all of the days that it is to recur.
This option will put the event separately on each day.
