    Target list instance with Feature

I created an event receiver to change some fields when an item is added to a list. I want to install it but instead of being activated for lists of a specific type I wish to only apply it to a specific list (a specific custom list in this case). Maybe I am missing something but I cannot seem to figure out how to do this.

    Thanks.

One way to do this is through code. Either create a console app to register the event receiver with the list or have a feature do it for you with a feature activated event handler. Let me know if you want me to post sample code for you, but doing it on your own is a valuable exercise.

     Good luck!
