web part connection fails after 100th item

I have an odd thing happening on one of my pages. I created a custom list for a recipe collection on our intranet. On a new page I placed 2 web parts based on that list.  It's a master and detail type layout. One web part only displays the title and provides a connection to the other web part, where the entire list item is displayed. That way people can browse through the recipe list and if they want to see the recipe they just click on it and can see the details.

The problem is that after 100 recipes the connection stops working. Everything from the 101st item on down doesn't display the detail. It just returns the first item in the list. I don't see anything under modify web part where I could set a number to display more.

Is this a bug? Can anyone else replicate it?

I'll be more than happy to provide a bit more detail if needed.

    Manny,

Your default item limit may be 100.  If so, it's an easy thing to change.

What you need to do is to go to your list, click on the View: Modify view, then scroll down to "Item Limit".  If you see the "Number of items to display" set at 100, just modify it to your choosing, and click OK.

     Hope this helps,

Duh, thank you. That was it.

I had the list grouped by recipe category so all 200 some items displayed. I didn't know that the 100 item limit still applied to the grouped view, especially since all the items displayed.
