List View Webpart in site template uses own Current View and not saved one

I have created a document library with two documents. I then created a custom column called Availability (as Yes/No type). I set the first doc to Yes and the second to No. I then edited the default view (All Documents) to only show docs that has this set to Yes. On the homepage of the site I then added the doc library as a webpart (List View Webpart). The webpart then only shows the one document... as it should. Then saved the site as a template.

When I create a new site based on this template, the webpart shows both documents! It seems that it just ignores the default view and makes the <Current View> to something of its own choice. If anyone has seen this, is this a bug?
