    Custom Workflow List not sending email

    Hi all,

    I have created a custom list and a workflow in SD. The workflow was created using SP workflow designer and some to-do actions have been defined to be selected in this form. The users are in Active Directory. The weird thing is that some users really get email notifications for tasks but some other users not. Even though they are selected from a group/person field. So I don't know what should I look at. I have done several manual import profile actions but it seems it does not help fix the issue.

    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Junkmail settings?

     This was encountered by us and it turned out to be associates outlook settings. They did not realize it was sitting in their junkmail folder.

    Unfortunately this is not the same case, I have checked junkmail inboxes of users not receiving email and nothing there. Anything else in mind?

    Have you made sure that the users emails are actually imported?

    If so, are there any differences between working an non-working addresses (domain, funny characters, etc)?

    If not, does the same apply when you update a user manually by adding the email address on the user profile?

    You're right. I have to delete the non-working email adressess and  added as new addresses. Now they are working and got messages in user's inboxes.

    I'm wondering why after I delete a user profile and then do import profile manually the user deleted doesn't not get imported. Any changes on Active Directory user account don't reflect in SharePoint user profiles even though doing importing manually.
