    Hi, I use Business Data Catalog and SampleWebService (WSOrders).The crawl was finish successful. After crawl the crawled properties don't appear in Crawled properties view. How resolve it?

  • Search New Content Source using MOSS 2007

    Hi, In the top right corner of our sharepoint site there is a drop down menu for search the current site. I setup a crawl to crawl this external site (http://www.abc.com) for example. It appeared to crawl and index correctly. How can I have that content source appear in my drop down menu at the top....

    Check your Authentication Provider in Central Admin/Application Mgmt... If you are set to BASIC, you will get crawl errors. One fix is shown below. I opted for another route - I change the Authentication to NTLM, do a crawl, then switch it back to BASIC. Yes, more work on my part, but less intrusive...

    Check your Authentication Provider settings. Are you using BASIC or NTLM? If you are using BASIC, that could be the source of the problem. We have been battling "Access Denied" errors forever, and only recently came across an MSDN article that addresses the issue: http://technet2.microsoft...
