Permission for lists

Hello All, I have 5 lists for which i have to apply permissions for each list ..each user group. And only the member from that group can have access to add,edit or delete the list for which they have access to. Now my problem is i'm able to create the group of users and add the group to each list...

linking excel files with database query

i have issues with spp 2003 when linking two excel (office 2003 sp3) files both on sharepoint, using "import external data" -> "new database query" menu. it does not support the links as it starts with http: and you don't want to make "new web querry" as it is not...

Adding Additional Defaults To A Custom List

Hello. I would like to add additional defaults to a custom list. For example, the client would like an AD Look up field to default with the current user. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disable Office links.

I have a list that I allow multple users to have write access too. I'd like the users to be able to export the lists to excel only. I do not want them to be able to link the lists or export to access. I am new to this and would appreciate anyones help.

Message to grant access to site is not coming up in Sharepoint
