Calendar event display

In day /week/ month view, calendar entries only display the title field and you have to open the item to reveal more event details. Anyone know if its possible to make additional fields visible? When modifying a calendar view, there is the option to select a subheading to display, but this doesnt work...

Resource Calendar list, conflict checking

I am using WSS v3 and have a calendar for our computer lab, the one problem is, is that people are not checking the day before booking and thus we are getting duplicate bookings. Is there a way (without exchange, as we don't have it) to do conflict resolution when someone is booking the times?

Forward Appointments To Sharepoint Calendar
