Permission for lists

Hello All, I have 5 lists for which i have to apply permissions for each list ..each user group. And only the member from that group can have access to add,edit or delete the list for which they have access to. Now my problem is i'm able to create the group of users and add the group to each list...

I have a doubt..regarding accessing items from the llist.. 1) Can we access the items from two different lists using Object Model C#.net. .if so how? 2) If i have 4 fields/columns in a Sharepoint List on one site, can i display only 2 fields data among the 4 and bind the items to a DataGrid to display...
