    I've been trying to do this as well. In my case it is because the list has many columns, and the users want to squeeze them as close to eachother as possible in certain views. Hence, wrapping the list headers and setting the column width seems like it should be a pretty simple way to achieve this...

    There is a column type called "Calculated" but unfortunately I haven't had too much experience using this yet. There probably is a formula that can look up how many times a certain plate appears in the list. Check out this link on formulas and functions: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us...

    Sounds too easy. How about add another field called "Citations" and enter in the number of citations in that field and then add sorting to the list by descend sorting by "Citation?" Is that what you want or is there something I'm missing here?
