InfoPath and Site Columns

Hi there, Anyone figure out how to use the base site columns like Language and Gender in an info path form template? When I publish and choose Core Contact and Calendar Colums and choose Gender for excample(which is a choice type) and map it to my dropdown box all I get when I view the form after publishing...

Content Types

I have tried to put two content types(custom Infopath forms, form1.xsn, form2.xsn) in the same folder. The two forms share some fields (Procedure, Name, Closed, Status). When I added them to the test folder, I noticed they would share Status but not field names like StandardProcedure, FirstName, etc...
