  • WSS Search broken

My MOSS search works great, and it will pull up all the documents on all my sites. However, if I go to any site, and search for a document I can see is right there in front of me, it still returns no matches found. I have made sure that WSS search is turned on in Central Admin, and on each WSS site....

  • Saving Data from Editor Part

Hi, Im trying to set up an editor part and I want to save data from the editor part in to the web part (simple right?). • Re: Content Migration from WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0

It is good that you are trying to think this through before moving forward. This is an important process to get correctly. Here is a thread I responded to a while back regarding upgrading. Migrate WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0 One suggestion not covered in the link above will fit your situation pretty nicely I...

  • Workflows - Item.Update - modified by system account

Hi, I have developed a workflow for our document management. Every time an item/document is checked in (create and update event) the workflow starts. It checks some properties and creates a unique code for that document, depending on some required properties that are already filled in. Now this workflow...

  • Re: Column Name Wrapping in List

I've been trying to do this as well. In my case it is because the list has many columns, and the users want to squeeze them as close to eachother as possible in certain views. Hence, wrapping the list headers and setting the column width seems like it should be a pretty simple way to achieve this...

  • Re: How to create charts in WSS 3.0 with Designer and VS2K5

I just finished doing inline, dynamic pie charts using the GDI+ API. Essentially, you define an aspx page with nothing but the <% Page %> declaration and a <script> tag, with a Page_Load and data access function(s) inside the script tag. Then you define another aspx page to present the images...

I am trying to restore a site to a new server. It is a SP 2007 to SP 2007 restore. A new install of SP 2007 with WSS 3.0. The backup file is from a Central Admin backup. I've tried to restore with Central Admin and get a "Backup and restore is already running" error. I have deleted the...
